Abstract

|
The lung is an infrequent location of extragenital endometriosis.
Parenchymal pulmonary endometriosis is a rare gynecologic problem, characterized by cyclic hemoptysis.
We describe a multiparous woman with recurrent catamenial hemoptysis localized with fiberoptic bronchoscopy and chest CT scanning, and then treated with Danazol.
The literature associated with thoracic endometriosis is briefly reviewed.
